Class Bravo Ventures Expanding the Power and Influence of Women As an angel investor, Terri was disappointed in the lack of interest in women led start-ups that came through Sand Hill Angels where she was an angel investor.  The business strategies and the opportunities should have been of interest but the women founders were often not taken seriously.  This isn’t something that was unique to Sand Hill Angels and continues to be a systemic problem which presents massive financial and economic opportunity. Research shows that women led start-ups and companies are more profitable and provide greater ROI than their VC backed male counterparts and women founders tend to do more with less (largely because they don’t have the same access to capital).
